As an artist-researcher, Bruno Marcelino has exhibited his work in galleries and public institutions, notably the Funarte Complex in São Paulo (2023), the Oscar Niemeyer Museum (Curitiba, 2020), and the Curitiba City Printmaking Museum (2019). He was a recipient of the 7th Visual Arts Production Grant from the Curitiba Cultural Foundation (2014–2019). He is currently an artist-in-residence at the Sculpture Studio of the UNESP Institute of the Arts, participating in the L.O.T.E. program (São Paulo, 2023–2025).
His work is held in the collection of the Oscar Niemeyer Museum (2020), where he also curated the exhibition *Carne Viva* (2022). He has authored numerous articles and critical essays on modern and contemporary Brazilian artists, including Miguel Bakun, Mario Rubinski, Fernando Burjato, Lilian Gassen, and Fernanda Gomes. An Assistant Professor of Drawing at EMBAP (UNESPAR), Marcelino holds a PhD (2025) and a Master’s degree in Arts (2021) from UNESP, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts (2008) from UFPR. Originally from Campo Mourão, Paraná, he lives and works between Curitiba and São Paulo.
