Lizeu is a native of Joinville (1978) in the state of Santa Catarina. He is a Brazilian painter, engraver, draftsman, and illustrator. His works are rooted in Concrete Art through his colors and symmetrical lines. Throughout his career, the line has always been present in his work. He uses forms and colors, sometimes strong and sometimes subtle, as structure, leading to reflection on his art. Forget the metaphysical and see the colors that define the forms; within his research, the lines speak in an anthropological way, initiating and giving form within the colors in his painting.

Throughout his life, Lizeu has explored drawing, classical painting, landscape painting, abstractionism, and even geometry. His abstract phase in 2000 marked a turning point in his development towards Concretism. The lines, unconsciously present in an exemplary composition in his painting, were already visible. During this period, Lizeu faced an identity crisis for 10 years and delved even deeper into his research to understand his work.

Also in 2023, Lizeu participated with two works in the XXXV Arceburgo-MG Fine Arts Salon and won the Bronze Medal. His production is constant in his studio. His works are in galleries and in private and institutional collections in Brazil, the United States, and Rome, Italy.
