Visual artist, was born in Curitiba, 1979, city where he lives and works. Graduated in Publicity and Advertising in 2002 by the Positivo University in Curitiba, with extension in Graphic Design and Photography in Central Saint Martins, London.

Livia Fonatana constructs her poetics based on conflicts or psychological solutions. With influence of the cinema and different printing techniques, what is seen in a process of the fruit of a process, where the images are constructed from experiences, flirting with irony and nostalgia.

In their production, the large formats present themselves naturally, leaving an intimate history of a human being explicit. His photographs accompany him since 8 years of age, data from his first camera, his father's gift. In March of 2015 he founded a contemporary art gallery in Curitiba, Boiler.
